More Than Money Can Buy Auction Lots...
So, take a look at the fabulous prizes and get ready to bid… we will be adding to this list so come back and have another look!
Lot One
A fabulous chill-out for you and a friend, a Spa Relax Day for two at the award winning Donnington Valley Hotel Spa. You will both enjoy a ½ hour treatment per person, use of the lovely relaxing facilities – you can relax as you are invigorated in the aromatherapy room and monsoon shower, recline in the poolside lounge and sun terrace or gently exercise in the swimming pool. Then to complete the experience, enjoy a light ‘bento’ lunch –a healthy, light option served in a ‘bento box’ (either salmon, chicken or vegetarian). Making this the perfect way to ‘chill’, be healthy and get pampered too.
Lot Two
A drop off three course dinner party for four provided by Hippo Food Design – choose from a delicious menu of starters, main courses and puddings… how about Roasted red pepper and plum tomato soup served with a drizzle of olive oil or Prawn and mango salad served with a sweet chilli dressing on a bed of rocket to start with; Coq au vine served with fresh petit pois, mashed potato with sautéed spring onions and tender stem greens and Fillet of beef and wild mushroom stroganoff served with wild rice, carrot and courgette ribbons for your main course, finishing with Divine lemon pots served with almond biscuits and a raspberry coulis or Cheeky chocolate pots topped with a Cointreau cream. Delicious! And to complete the event you will be given a beautiful bouquet of flowers by Hello Flower of Hungerford – so whatever the occasion this will be a dinner party to remember.
Lot Three
Want to get away from it all, but don’t want to go too far! Then why not bid for a night at the Bear Hotel Hungerford. You can relax while someone else does the cooking – and brings you a bottle of wine too, then retire to you bedroom with cool, calm décor and hi-tech gadgets to ensure your stay is relaxing. Then the next morning get up and enjoy a hearty breakfast… before you take a wander around Hungerford, or simply go home to the real world!

Lot Four
A real money can’t buy item… 2 tickets to see Phantom of the Opera in box at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket. You can celebrate the event with a glass of champagne and receive a signed photograph of the Phantom… you will also be given a back stage walk around
Lot Five
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team Hat Signed By F1 superstars Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. This is a real collectors piece, as of course F1 fans will know that Fernando no longer drivers for Vodafone McClaren Mercedes Team. This prize was kindly donated By Vodafone Property UK.
Lot Six
A divine, A la Carte, dinner for two at the Michelin Starred, Vineyard Stockcross. Savour the delicious flavours and cutting edge cuisine, created by Executive Chef John Campbell from fresh, locally sourced ingredients to the highest of standards. A truly great way to celebrate, especially as you will also be given a complimentary Aperitif on arrival and a bottle of wine chosen by the Sommelier to accompany the meal.
Lot Seven
One for the family… why not take time out with the family and enjoy a yummy, cream tea for four at Hethertons Kings Café – what could be a more traditional, family treat. Then nip along to Breathe Pictures, where you will be expertly guided and a family portrait taken – one for the album! And you can choose a mounted print to remind you of the occasion.
Lot Eight
If you love off roading but want to do it in style – why not bid for a Touareg afternoon on Monday, 21st July with Ridgeway Newbury. Not only do you get to enjoy and exhilarating afternoon in the New Volkswagen Touraeg – before you can enjoy lunch for two in The Good Food Guide’s Buckinghamshire Restaurant of the Year 2007. Danesfield House Hotel and Spa overlooks the River Thames between Marlow and Henley-On-Thames and is set in 65 acres of magnificent estate grounds in the Chiltern Hills.
Lot Nine
