The Newbury& Districts Soroptimists International Pancake Day race is arranged annually in Newbury’s market square, with the WBRRC being this years chosen charity. The WBRRC would like to thank the Newbury Soroptomists for all their hard work in arranging this event and many others across the year which helped take the sum raised to a wonderful £1500. We were also delighted that responder Paul Rock claimed his second “Pancake Tosser of the year” award in three years.
